The GTM Readiness Scorecard helps startup founders and marketing leaders measure how prepared they are to launch or scale their go-to-market motion. It evaluates five key areas: positioning clarity, channel readiness, team capacity, budget allocation, and metrics tracking. Each area gets a score from 2 to 8 based on your answers, and the combined score (out of 40) tells you whether you're ready to scale or need to shore up your foundations first. Most startups that come to us score between 16 and 22 -- they've done some of the work but have gaps that slow everything down. The scorecard pinpoints exactly where those gaps are so you know what to fix first. It's the same framework our growth strategists use during the first call with a new client.

It measures five areas of your go-to-market: positioning (do you know your ICP and value prop?), channels (have you tested acquisition channels?), team (do you have growth expertise?), budget (is your spend structured?), and metrics (are you tracking what matters?). Each area gets 2-8 points for a total score out of 40.

31-40 means you're GTM-ready and should be scaling. 23-30 means you're getting there but have gaps to close. 16-22 means you're early-stage with work to do on the basics. Below 16 means you need to define your GTM basics before spending on growth.
